Just arrived home from Tina Judson's funeral and my brother has informed me that Darryl Forman has taken his own life. Known-by more people as GENO (taken for the Dexy's Midnight Runners track)Darryl had been working in the Lincoln area for a year or so,having moved from Lincoln to Manchester in the late 1980s -early 1990s. Myself, Rick Sharp and Barry Edmunds were close freinds with Darryl during the early 80s doing scooter runs, gigs and out and about in Lincoln. The last time i saw him was at the Boxing Day do at the Naval club, 2008. Did not know that he suffered from depression.Darryl was always into the music scene. During the 1980s he loved indie bands such as the Smiths,two-tone, Spear of Destiny and The chiefs of Relief. I understand there is a clip on him on THE TUBE at a Chiefs of Relief gig! Darryl went out with Sharons siters, Mandy for a number of years. I do have some more pictures. will post them once I have located em. ''We will never forget you''.
Lovely service for the late Tina Judson at Lincoln Crematorium 6th January. Tina was killed in an accident just after 6.00pm on Monday 21st December 2009 on the A158 near her home in Wragby.

An excellent day out to Beat The Bikers at Matlock, 16th August. Ended up riding over on my own and running late, was lucky to make it to Ambergate for 10.00am just as the ride-out was preparing to leave! Anyway, I still had a great day, I said last year that this event gets better each year and 2009 was no exception!Cobby managed to pick up a trophy in the custom show for best shopping baskets(see pics)with my p200e also winning the best fluffy seat catagory!On the downside, one of the leading five scoots that I rode home with got flashed at the Ambergate gatso, will be interested to see who gets the fine!

A quick blast down Burton Road for me for Lincolnshire Alliance meeting at The Dambusters. Excellent turn out for this event with 101 scooters in attendance but this count-up from Andy does include 13 twist and gos! A new sponsor for Trish with her pink and black P2, now sporting ''Bertie Bassett' Liquorice paintwork.
Wagon and Horses, Branston ride-out-RYAN HIDES MEMORIAL. This event started at North Greetwell services with a ride up to the accident site where Ryan Hides lost his life.His parents and family left flowers at the location before the ride-out continued from Sudbrooke to Branston. Around 50 scooter were in attendance for this meeting including some old faces who used to own scoots!

Motown 50th Anniversary Event at Naval Club. Great night with usual DJ's and live music from Motown Review. Busy night with plenty of decent pics taken by myself. Although Steve didn't spin any tracks on the turntables we still got to hear Stoned Love no less than three times!
Northern Soul at the Naval Club, 26th December 2008.This was a charity night in aid of Cancer Research with optional fancy dress.Great night with a few visitors from Bawtry, Paris Hilton's younger sister and a ''Blast from the past '' with a rare visit to Lincoln from the one and only Darryl Forman!
East Midlands Scooter Alliance ride-out to Matlock, 10th August 2008.
This is the third season this event has run and it gets better each year with a number of people camping at the Hurt Arms at Ambergate Saturday evening. Ride-out commenced around 10am Sunday morning up to Matlock and on to the Rugby club. Another excellent day out with very little rain and plenty of good sunshine!
